The Italian culture of Beauty, taste and innovation: these are the values that GICO will bring to Expo Dubai, the first Universal Expo ever to take place in the Arab world, through its partnership, as Silver Sponsor, with the Italy Pavilion. 

The Somec Group-owned company specialised in luxury professional kitchen equipment, has customised the kitchen of the Chefs of the Italy Pavilion at the Universal Expo, creating the ideal working environment for their respective concepts.

GICO designed and installed a fully equipped professional kitchen. In line with Italy’s subtheme, “Beauty Connects People”, GICO fitted the Pavilion’s kitchen with equipment that, in addition to offering top quality materials and high performance, also stand out for the care in the design and the aesthetics of the customised design, which is synonymous of the Italian style and artisanal know-how. All this with utmost care for the issue of sustainability: all the equipment is designed to be low-consumption, both in the manufacturing phase, which only uses 95% recyclable materials, as well as in its use, by maximising energy peaks and the overall energy consumption of the kitchens.
