Kartell will decorate the spaces with a mix of its best-selling products and some of its latest creations. Transparency, one of the distinctive features of the Italian company that launched it more than 20 years ago, becomes the symbol of sustainability through the use of the new polycarbonate 2.0. Louis Ghost – the company’s iconic piece that will decorate the Amphitheatre – is produced with this new sustainable material mostly through the ISCC-certified synthesis of waste material from the pulp and paper industry.
Throughout the 6-month Expo, Kartell will have the opportunity to organize events in which environmental sensitivity, the circular economy and beauty will spark off the narrative the company’s commitment and philosophy.
Kartell will also use new products made of recycled material derived from the clean and uncontaminated waste from other sectors of activity. Wood, if industrially processed with a minimum-consumption production technique based on wood from FSC® certified forests, guarantees the origin and the correct exploitation of forest resources.
For the “Bar and Food Space” by Niko Romito, Kartell has studied a special customised decoration: the area dedicated to the high-level restaurant is decorated with “tailored” solutions, highlighting the value of reception and the points of excellence of the Michelin Star-winning Chef.
