The countdown towards Expo Dubai has entered its final phase, and as the daily Quotidiano Nazionale narrates in its special report available now at newsstands, the Italy Pavilion is warming up its engines by raising the curtains on the events and contents of the 6-month Expo, from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.
The calendar of the Italy Pavilion at the first exhibition ever to be held in the Arab world revolves around the thematic weeks chosen by the organizers. QN’s special report focuses on the first of such weeks: “Climate and Biodiversity”.
At the Italy Pavilion, the theme will be developed in several initiatives focused on Venice, brought as an example of a local laboratory and an international model of how to combat the effects of climate change and promote innovative environmental transition processes and cultural and social innovation. On the 3rd of October, one of the two forums dedicated to the lagoon city will launch the candidacy of Venice as world capital of sustainability on the Expo’s global platform.
