“Expo Dubai will be a global event of extraordinary importance for the development and competitiveness of the socio-economic systems that were so hard struck by the pandemic, which will make us proud of being born in the Marche Region, because it will enable our companies to present the creativity of Made-in-Marche products and the innovativeness of their production in a global showcase that involves more than 190 Countries.” These were the enthusiastic words that the Region’s Vice President, Mirco Carloni, used to outline the key features of the Region’s presence at the Italy Pavilion at the Universal Expo.
The Region’s participation will peak at the “Food, Agriculture & Livelihoods” event. This is how Mr Carloni explains it: “During the week from 20 to 26 February 2022, an official delegation will accompany our companies and universities with a view to highlighting their innovative projects and fostering new commercial and industrial cooperation and investment opportunities, as well as business matching and development with international partners.”
Moreover, the Marche Region will be featured in the films by Oscar-winning filmmaker Gabriele Salvatores screened along the exhibition itinerary. The Region’s official website reads: “Salvatores’s film crew will show some of the most significant and visually impacting territories at the Belvedere Section, in addition to the wheat processing industry, arts and crafts, the creative processing of hides and the innovative luxury yacht building technologies at the Know-How Section.”
